MAGIC AND ALCHEMY
Spells are divided into eight magic schools. Within each school are tomes dividing it into sections. Each tome consists of several spells. There are over 300 spells. In addition to the spell books, there is an Alchemical Grimoire with many alchemical formulas.
DIVINATION: Tidbits of knowledge from the GM using premonition, visions, cards, palm readings, etc.
EMPATHICS: Sensing the thoughts and emotions of other beings and learning to communicate, manipulate and dominate them.
ENCHANTMENT: Causing others to perceive the world and the caster in certain ways, and to cause others to see phantasms. Includes charming, making beings sleep and hypnotising.
ENERGETICS: The art of using and controlling energy in many of its forms. Heat, light, cold, electricity and magical power.
KINESIS: “Mind over matter.” Objects and enemies are stopped, moved, levitated and animated in many ways. Flying is also included.
NECROMANCY: Making and commanding zombies, ghouls and vampires, and the conjuration of, control
of and aquisition of Power through etheric entities (spirits, demons, etc.)
SHAMANICS: Physical and spiritual healing, blessing and cursing, talismans, fetishes and planar travel. Also the manipulations of time and reality.
TRANSMUTATION: The manipulation, alteration and control of the body and its surroundings at a molecular level. Expansion, diminution, shape-changing, polymorphing, disintegration, regeneration and creating creatures are all included
All spells are learned by the player as if by college course, i.e, "prerequisite" spells must be learned before choosing other spells, etc.
